Medellín Shopping Tour
Santa Fe mall, El Hueco and the factory outlets — with a driver who waits and carries the bags.
Medellín is the capital of Colombian fashion: this is where the jeans and underwear factories that dress the continent are. Knowing where to go for what you want is what separates a good shopping afternoon from a day lost in taxis.

Santa Fe is the largest and most complete in the city; El Tesoro and Oviedo round out the circuit of international brands, restaurants and Colombian design stores. They are the comfortable option, indoors with parking, and the safe bet on a rainy day.
For jeans, sportswear and underwear from Colombian brands, the outlets in Itagüí and La Mayorista have factory prices. This is where you see that Medellín is a garment-making city: brands that cost twice as much in other countries.
El Hueco is the centre's shopping maze: streets of awnings and stalls where you find everything at bargain prices, if you know where to look. Locals use it every day; the smart way to go is by day, hands free, phone away and with cash, because many discounts are cash-only. The centre is also a few blocks from Botero Plaza.
A shopping day gets complicated by logistics: distances, bags and areas you do not know. The Medellín Shopping Tour is a private car with unlimited stops for 4 to 5 hours (extra hour COP 50,000); the driver looks after your purchases in the vehicle while you browse, and we plan the route around your list. It is USD $110 per vehicle, up to 4 people.
