About this tour

Flying over Medellín is one of those experiences people talk about for years. You take off from San Félix, 2,800 metres above sea level, and for 15 to 30 minutes you glide with the whole Aburrá Valley underneath you — the city, the mountains and, on a clear morning, a horizon that goes on forever. Pilots are certified and the flight is tandem, so no experience is needed.

What we handle is everything around the flight: we pick you up at your hotel, drive the 45 minutes up to the launch site in Bello, wait while you fly, and bring you back. The classic ending is a stop for pan de chocha, the bread everyone stops for on the way down. The transfer is private for up to 4 people; the flight itself is paid directly to the flight school.

None. Every flight is tandem with a certified pilot who handles take-off, flight and landing. You just have to walk a few steps at take-off.
What is included in the USD $78 transfer?
That is the private transfer for up to 4 people: hotel pickup, the drive to San Félix, waiting time and the return. The flight itself is paid directly to the flight school on site.
What is the best time of day to fly?
Mornings, between 9 a.m. and noon, when conditions are most stable. Flights depend on weather — if the wind cancels the day, we reschedule.
Is there a weight limit?
Most schools fly passengers up to around 100 kg. If you are close to that, tell us when you book and we will confirm with the school first.
